The Creative and Performing Arts Activity Index (CPAI) is a mechanism for rewarding ECU staff for their creative and performing arts efforts. Claims for CPAI should not also be eligible for the Research Activity Index (RAI). Subsequently data collected through the CPAI is not part of the reporting to DEST on the level of research activity at ECU.
