Journal and Conference Rankings
On 9 February 2010 the Australian Research Council released the Final ERA 2010 Ranked Journal and Conference Lists. The lists are available on the ARC website.
Journal articles will only be eligible for ERA if they are published in a journal included on this list. When selecting Field of Research (FoR) codes for your journal article, you will be restricted to the codes identified on the ranked journal list. The only exception to this is if your journal is identified as multidisciplinary, in which case you will be able to select whichever codes are most applicable to the research content of your article.
Unlike the Ranked Journal list, however, conference papers may be submitted irrespective of whether the relevant conference appears on the Ranked Conference list (provided that the conference publication meets the usual publication eligibility criteria) as only select disciplines will be using Ranked Conferences. These include, Built Environment and Design, Engineering and ICT.
